Law of the Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport
We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.
So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally.

Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets,
so ... Love the people who treat you right.
Pray for the ones who don't.

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Have a garbage-free day!

"Faith is not believing God can, it is knowing that God will."

This was sent to me wih no author. I love this and it is so true. My hope is that this has inspired you in some way.

To Your Success!

Would you agree that owning your own business is the best way to get ahead?

The truth is, most people that are in business for themselves are the people who have built the biggest fortunes and have created financial security for their families.

Sadly most don't have the means, entrepreneurial spirit or know-how to do it.
Think about it for a second. Suppose you wanted to start your own business, let's say a retail store. What do you need to have in place to do it?
• Huge Investment of Cash
• Money for building and/or rent.
• Money for inventory/product.
• Employees
• Payroll Staff
• Management Staff
• Ordering Staff
• Computers
• Racks etc. to hold products
• Cash Registers/Debit Machines
• Legal Department
• And the list goes on...
What if you could start your own successful business for $29 and everything was already in place for you.

What if:
• You had access to hundreds of consumable products backed by 25 years of research and patents that were better and less expensive than the competition?
• You had access to millions of square feet of manufacturing and distribution facilities?
• You had access to millions of dollars worth of computers to handle payroll, orders, taxes etc?
• You had access to a legal team ?
• You had access to hundreds of employees to take orders and service your customers?
• You had access to a research and development team and sales literature?
• Your customers purchased every month? They came back and shopped month after month after month?
• Everything was guaranteed?
• You could build your business to the size of thousands of dollars of residual income each month?
• You could see the average annual incomes of current business owners as well as the average time it takes business owners to achieve them?
• All you had to do to build your business was to promote the products/company and set up customer accounts?
• You had all of that, and your only investment was some of your time and $29 (that was guaranteed) ?
It amazes me why anyone that really wants to make some positive changes wouldn't jump in with both feet and create a great life! Or at the very least learn everything they could about to make an educated, informed decision.

Shhhhh...do you hear the door of opportunity opening?

Some Do, Some Don't.

Which one are you?

On This Day Poem

To some people February 14th is just another day.
For me this is a day to take time and say... I love you.
Stop, and think what we've been through and how much are love as grew.
Yes, we fight,
And I've lied,
But never forget for you I would die.
Everyday I see your beautiful, smiling face,
And there are moments that I stare and you take my breath away,
and leave me with nothing to say,
On this special day,
I ask myself how it is possible to love a person so much.
My heart has been permanently touched.
All the tears and pain seem to go away.
The pieces of my heart that were chiseled away, you make them ok.
Once there was a deep dark hole nobody could touch,
Until you came and filled it with all your love.
On this special day I want you to know,
I love you,
More than I could write down, tell, explain or even try to show,
In this life or the next.
I've done things I regret,
And they hurt you inside and made you cry,
But let those things die,
Not you and I.
I want to be with you the rest of my life,
Until the day I say good-bye.
So on this Valentines Day I want to say,
I love you and will always be with you.

Posture - Do you feel you are capable to do what you are doing?

The Internet Ceo Mom has weekly training calls with the entire team. These calls are amazing! This weeks call is all about having posture and two of our leaders gave us the following information.

You need every 10 ingredients for Posture! It will not work with leaving one of these ingredients out.

1. Why - Everyone needs a strong Why in this business. It will keep you on track. Where do you see yourself in a year? It is deeper than money. Pin it up in your computer so you see it day in and day out. Keep in mind that your why may change throughout your business and be open to it.
2. Trust – A person on whom or a thing in which one is able to rely. Rely on yourself. Your decision to build this business. It effects on how you build your business. Trust in the company and team.
3. Conviction – Is a strong belief in what you are doing and having a compass. It directs where you what to go in life.
4. Belief – They all reflect in believing in yourself, you have to be capable on making your dreams come true. It affects your momentum. You must believe in your mojo!
5. Confidence – Having confidence in yourself and your ability to succeed. Don’t say things to your self like I can’t, you should say How can I? Be confident in what you do know.
6. Certainty - You trust your decisions and you can figure out any obstacle. Have no doubts in what you are sharing with others and feel you are in the right place, at the right time and with the right team.
7. Passion – Wow! We can never get enough passion! You need to have it and have excitement and enthusiasm for what you are doing! Sound like you have passion and love what you are doing. You have to love what you are doing when you get up in the morning. There is nothing else you would rather be doing. If I am having success then everyone around me should have success. Make others happy and in return you will be happy. People join you, not Internet Ceo Moms! You should not have to work for passion, it comes out naturally. Gaining knowledge will give you passion.
8. Sincerity – Be Real! That is all you have to do! Be yourself with all of the above ingredients! Use your own tone of voice! Find your own words! Be professional and be genuine and have integrity. Do what you say you are going to do and be who you say you are.
9. Knowledge – You should know what you are doing and representing. Knowledge means getting a career/value pack, so you know the company you are representing. You need to be a product of the product. Learn about the other companies out there like, Mary Kay so you can talk about the differences intelligently. Knowledge gives you the best results. I would not spend all of your day trying to research other companies. Doing the activities you should be doing. It hurts your business if you do not get the value pack right away. It comes with a big old bag of belief.
10. Honesty - If you do not know the answer, find it out. Do not make something up. Being honest with you and complete training. What can I approve on? What do I need to do better today? Honest inventory you know where you need to go so what are you going to do? Go to your enroller to help keep you honest. Make sure you are being completely honest with you. The truth is good enough – Frank Vandersloot.

You need posture to have success in this business and you must have all of the ingredients. Figure out which ingredients you are missing and go get it! You need them all for success. What happens if you were a Senior Director today how would you talk to people? Have that mindset that you are a Senior Director. Think big even if only one person is listening.

This was an incredible training call! It is all true, you must have these attributes to be successful in any business.

I hope this information has helped you and it can be applied to any aspect of your life.

10 Quotes for Moms by Erika Carrillo

Being a Stay at Home Mom is the most rewarding job, but it’s not always an easy task. As a Mother to my 3 ½ year old Son and 2 year old Daughter, things may get a bit hectic. Apparently three is the new two. My 2 year old daughter seems to be following her brother’s footsteps. Who knows what I’m in for next???

Between the never ending laundry and dirty diapers, some days are harder than others. While being a Stay at Home Mom to my two kids can be a handful, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. At the end of the day I like to sit back, and think of a couple sweet moments my kids and I shared!

I’ve found these 10 Great Quotes for Moms that show the value of being a Mother. They have helped me realize what a blessing it is to be a Mom! I hope you enjoy, just as much as I do!

1. I know how to do anything – I’m a Mom. ~Roseanne Barr

2. Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs… since the payment is pure love. ~Mildred B.

3. Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible. ~Marion C. Garretty

4. Make a memory with your children, spend some time to show you care, toys and trinkets can’t replace those precious moments that you share. ~Elaine Hardt

5. Making the decision to have a child-it’s momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ~Elizabeth Stone

6. Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother. ~Lin Yutang

7. When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. ~Sophia Loren

8. Only mothers can think of the future – because they give birth to it in their children. ~Maxim Gorky

9. All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother. ~Abraham Lincoln
